at the beginning of the year, i made a list. i made a goals list for the year that i'd stumble upon every so often, and try accomplish. i must say, i'm proud. i'm proud of some of the goals i eventually accomplished. here's my list.
Goals for 2009. (35/42)
-Make a new friend and learn everything about them.*
-Go a whole day without getting hurt.*
-Write in a journal on a daily or couple-day basis.*
-Buy a fake mustache.
-Prove someone wrong, without looking like an idiot.*
-Get a sweet, stable boyfriend.*
-Visit Drew in his new house in Avondale!
-Sneak out!*
-Have at least one night I'll remember all year.*
-Make a CD of songs I've written.
-Cry, laugh, or scream when I need to.*
-Go to California, or on a vacation with one or multiple best friends.*
-Keep the same group of people in my life.*
-Forgive you for breaking a promise.*
-Learn more on the guitar.*
-Think before I speak.*
-Get a job.
-Actually get to PE on time.*
-Witness karma in action.*
-Eat a whole gallon if ice cream in one sitting.
-Try be a little less stubborn.*
-Do another disney channel, railroad all-nighter adventure with my girls.*
-Take care of someone in some way.*
-See you again after so long.*
-Watch the sunset every night.*
-Sit in the bed of a truck with my girls, while it's moving, singing at the top of our lungs.*
-Go to the gym with my dad once a week.
-Face at least one of my fears.*
-Get my permit.*
-Get my license!
-Go to church more often.*
-Allow myself to trust others a little more easily.*
-Dye my hair.*
-Stay up all night watching movies.*
-Wear my clear contacts or glasses for a while.*
-Have a sleepover for a week straight.*
-Watch the stars all night with someone.*
-Witness a time when both myself and my best friends are happy.*
-Try something completely new and unlike myself.*
-Move on.* (finally)
-Stay up all night and watch the sunrise.*
-Do whatever it is humanly possible in the pursuit of happiness.*

i suggest everyone makes a list like this. it helped me realize more than i even imagined.
