1. i'm left handed. the majority of people in my life don't realize that about me until even years after knowing me.
2. i don't eat any form of fish, or any food that came from the sea. never have, never will.
3. i'm a singer. i sang the national anthem at my school in 7th grade, and in 8th grade, and when my grandpa was alive, he got me into singing at restaurants, such as tortilla flats and san tan flats. i used to dread it, but looking back, i miss it. almost as much as i miss him. haven't done any huge singing things since.
4. i've written a song about every damn boy i've ever liked since the 5th grade. some have more than others, some songs are much better than others, but either way, i do it.
5. i used to be in every single club i could be from 5th grade up until 8th grade. tennis club, student council, njhs, and more. most of which i was president of.
6. i've known corey rizzi-wise since 7th grade. since i was so weird, he used to think i was the most annoying thing to hit this planet. but by freshman year, we became the best of friends, i kid you not.
7. the boyfriend i currently have is technically my first.
8. i would pick a rented movie with friends or a group at home over going to the movie theatre ANY day.
9. i've had multiple best friends, but the three that have always been around for as long as i can remember are the three girls who i currently cherish with everything i have. thanks for sticking with me at my worst, girls.
10. i could honestly play sims 2/sims 3 for hours and hours and hours. i take up the majority of the time making characters look exactly like people in my life. just ask amanda.
11. i'm naturally an emotional person. sometimes it plays in my favor, but in most cases i hate that about myself.
12. when i was in preschool, i lived in taiwan. while at a mcdonalds with my mom and brother, we got spotted and a man asked my mom if she'd be interested in enlisting us in this big modeling company there. she agreed, and she still has all of the magazines of my brother and i. the biggest accomplishments with this, i gotta say, was when i was on the cover of a magazine, and on a billboard in a mall.
13. my life is in arizona, but my heart will eternally be in north dakota from the big fields to the little town. forever.
14. for some odd reason i have a phobia of dmv drivers license tests, so i ended up taking a driving class to finally get my license, and i've yet to get a car. still waiting.
15. i used to read at least 10 picture books every night before i went to sleep when i was little. i'd go through books like nobody's business. now, i really dislike reading. i wish i still loved it.
16. in 2nd grade, i wrote a poem called 'if i were.' my teacher told me it was one of the best things she's ever read, and that i have so much potential in a writing career in my future. i hope you're still right, mrs. coshow.
17. at the beginning of 8th grade, i had relatively long hair. gradually over time i kept getting it cut, and one night i was just upset with a lot of things, and cut it all off. it was shorter than it had ever been before. it's a sore subject to talk about, and people who've been with me understand how big of a deal it is that my hair's finally grown back.
18. i am a writer to the core, but i still stumble over my words and i'm not sure why.
19. i believe that ultimate frisbee is my calling, but the only time i've ever played it was in PE freshman year.
20. i absolutely love making movies on my macbook with my girls. it brings me much joy :)
21. freshman year, on the night of morp, i thought i was gonna be able to keep my mind off of things and have a good time. long story short, though, i spent half the night in the bathroom crying my eyes out. most people didn't know that.
22. bingsoo is the single most delicious foreign dessert. like, ever.
23. i'm a very sentimental person. if someone gives me something that reminds me of a time period, i'll remember all the details, and i'll never lose it.
24. i'm losing my eyelashes. i have a bad habit of picking off my mascara which is taking a tole on the length and quantity of my eyelashes ):
25. i only weigh 115 lbs, give or take a few pounds. which makes no sense, because i eat SO much.
26. after a night where my parents and dylan's parents got drunk together, i found out me and dylan were born in the same hospital, if his mom were to have had a girl she would have named her desiree and if my mom were to have a son she would have named him dylan, our familys generally replicate eachother, and that when dylan and i have kids, they'll be "beautiful babies."
27. without a doubt in my mind, disneyland is the single most amazing, happiest place on earth to me. always will be.
28. i was born in california, moved to arizona, moved to taiwan, moved to oregon, moved to connecticut, then moved back here to arizona. so far, i've lived here the longest.
29. almost every person i've ever asked told me their first impression of me by the look of me was a negative one, but they were always proven wrong after they got to know me. things like that make me wonder what i'm missing out on for the people too afraid to approach me.
30. when i get older, i intend to have a husky dog and potentially a miniature schnauzer.
